I was going to make an April Fool's post telling you we'd found the Nehemiah Scudder stories, but I realized I'd be mailbomb angry after having something like that pulled. So consider yourselves almost fooled.
I'm going to move substantive posts to Fridays 'til I miss another day. EIther way, I'm not expecting terribly event-heavy posts most weeks for a while.

Thanks for your updates recently, and for your restraint in not getting our hopes up about the Nehemiah Scudder stories. That would have been cruel!
I'm sorry to hear about the allergies. I hope they don't keep you from enjoying the azaleas and the 10 nice days of weather that Houston gets right about now. I also *greatly* envy you your easy access to superb Tex-Mex, the Goode Company establishments, and Kim Son.

We've actually been having beautiful weather for several weeks now. I'm scared it means we're in for severe karmic rebalancing come summer.
Aye, I think the most wonderful thing about summer in Houston is finding a Mexican place with a nice patio and perfectly chilled margaritas when the sun's setting on a hot day. Simply beautiful.
Doneraki is about 6 minutes from you across I-45, but I don't remember if they have a patio. I haven't been there since the 1960s! I was wishing again this weekend that someone would open a *real* Tex-Mex place out here in the Bay Area. [sigh]
