We have a ship date--the day on which the printer will have the books ready--of May 14th--the day before my birthday, oddly. I will check with Apogee and see what sort of average turnaround time we're looking at from there to get the books into people's hands.

Dang. I find myself allowing my mood to go from the cynical "I'll believe it when I open the package" to excited anticipation. Thanks for the good news!
Well, while normally I'd say that cautious cynicism is a far safer option, I don't think there's actually any way for us to delay things now short of calling them up and paying the fees to interrupt the presses.
